Waterside Complex Rules

Please read and sign these rules before you leave for your swim.

These rules are there to protect the fish and your enjoyment of the lake:

  • No entry before 1pm on Saturday of arrival.  Must be off site by 10am the following Saturday.
  • You can drive to your swim to unload but cars must be returned to the car park.
  • Boats are for Bailiff use only.
  • Mats / slings and landing nets are provided by us.  Please do not bring your own.
  • Three rods per person.
  • Micro barbed hooks only.
  • Rig tubing and safe zone leaders only.
  • Carp care kit required.
  • Boilie, pellet and maize.
  • No tiger nuts / maggots to be used.  No plastic corn.
  • Maize and pellet must be purchased on site.
  • Freezer bait only.
  • Freezer bait can be purchased on site.
  • Bait boats allowed.
  • No fish to be retained at any time.  If you believe to be over 40lb leave in retainer while you wait for Bailiff to arrive and do not remove from the water!!!  When possible, when removing fish from water please ensure that you are using the slings.
  • No dogs.
  • No fires.
  • BBQs are permitted but have to be raised off the floor.

CARP CARE ON-SITE, PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR MATS/NETS, ETC!

  • £50 refundable deposit when returned. You will be asked to sign the rule policy, etc, regarding glass, swims and carp care on arrival.

Please follow these rules, or risk being asked to leave.

Swim & Rubbish Rules

  • Please keep your swim tidy at all times. Please ensure there is no spod spill, boilies or bait left in swims at any time.
  • Your rubbish must be separated into glass, recycling, and general waste.
  • For ease, please bring your rubbish with you when you reel in for dinner and put it into the appropriate bins.
  • Under no circumstances must any form of human waste be disposed of in the rubbish bags.
  • Please keep the toilet and shower facilities clean after use.
  • Please ensure that all discarded cigarette ends are picked up and disposed of and not left in your Swims or surrounding areas.
  • At the end of the week, your swim will be inspected and only then will your deposit be returned.
  • Any angler found with rubbish bags with rubbish that hasn’t been separated will lose their 50€ deposit as the staff will have to undertake the separation of rubbish.
  • Please note that Rowing boats can be used by Bailiffs only.

Glass & Gas Poilcy

If you feel the need for glass, please do not mix it with rubbish, please keep it separate, and you MUST take it home. This applies to gas canisters also. Deposits won’t be refunded until rubbish and swims are checked.
